Production and project management of environmental graphics for the Energy Pavilion at Expo 2000 in Hanover, Germany – a world-class event focused on Humankind, Nature, and Technology.

Expo 2000 was a unique event in history in that it brought together creative thinkers from around the world to convene in the country where the term “Sustainable Development” was conceived – Germany. This was the largest world expo to have been conceived at this time with a view to welcome in the new millennium. This world-class event tackled fundamental issues related to the ways in which human beings live with each other and the natural world. The theme park was an area devoted to topics such as: energy, communication, mobility, humankind, health, and basic needs.

David Oswald was the producer / project manager for the environmental graphics aspect of the energy pavilion. In addition, there was close collaboration with the video, film, and multimedia teams. The project required on-site work with the client in Hanover while having a research and design team working in Vancouver, Canada.

This project was done with Lunny Communications Group, the lead firm.
