DE Pres­i­dent, David Oswald, deliv­ered a keynote pre­sen­ta­tion on “Green Eco­nom­ic Tran­si­tions in the Min­ing Sec­tor — An Inter­na­tion­al Per­spec­tive” at Mongolia’s first Min­ing Week.

The Mon­go­lian min­ing sec­tor is thriv­ing and has attract­ed sig­nif­i­cant inter­na­tion­al atten­tion and invest­ment. The lead­ers of these com­pa­nies are work­ing towards mak­ing Mongolia’s min­ing sec­tor a glob­al demon­stra­tion of sus­tain­abil­i­ty.

David’s pre­sen­ta­tion spoke to the crit­i­cal need for the min­ing sec­tor in chart­ing out a path towards sus­tain­abil­i­ty through elec­tri­fi­ca­tion, for exam­ple.
