David Oswald gives a pre­sen­ta­tion at MIGS 2008 in the Seri­ous Games sec­tion. The pre­sen­ta­tion was focused on the role of seri­ous games in envi­ron­men­tal appli­ca­tions. A range of appli­ca­tions were show­cased includ­ing enter­tain­ment and edu­ca­tion games such as those that are in sci­ence cen­tres and muse­ums. More tech­ni­cal exam­ples such as sce­nario analy­sis for cli­mate change and busi­ness deci­sion mak­ing were also dis­cussed.
