DE deliv­ers edu­ca­tion and out­reach work­shop for C-READ (Caribbean Region­al Envi­ron­men­tal and Atmos­pher­ic Data­base Man­age­ment Sys­tem) in Bridgetown, Bar­ba­dos.

DE led the Gap Analy­sis, Con­cep­tu­al Design, and Sus­tain­abil­i­ty Plan for C-READ with region­al part­ner, Mona Geoin­for­mat­ics Insti­tute Ltd. in Kingston, Jamaica. GeoSo­lu­tions was respon­si­ble for the soft­ware devel­op­ment.

The project has been joint­ly fund­ed by the Inter-Amer­i­can Devel­op­ment Bank (IDB) and was man­aged by the Caribbean Com­mu­ni­ty Cli­mate Change Cen­tre (CCCCC), with the Cen­tre also being its Imple­ment­ing Enti­ty. Sig­nif­i­cant inputs for the project were received from the Caribbean Insti­tute of Mete­o­rol­o­gy and Hydrol­o­gy (CIMH).
